The Tigers are hitting the best it has as a team over the last two weeks or so, per MLB.com. The team is eighth in OPS over the last 15 days while tied for the the big league high for home runs in that time frame (23, tied with the Braves).

Brown has decent numbers as a rookie, striking out more than 10 batters per nine innings but has struggled with limiting the long ball, allowing a dinger on 20% of fly balls this season, a concerning mark and could be the difference in this matchup.

Meanwhile, for the Tigers, Rodriguez has had an up-and-down last two months following a stint on the injured list, posting a 4.37 ERA, but he is due some positive regression in that time, posting a Fielding Independent Pitching (FIP) 3.16.

I believe that as a home underdog with the Tigers emerging bats, this is an attractive underdog bet on Saturday afternoon.
