Detroit Tigers prospect Colt Keith made some noise on Tuesday.

It was a huge day for Detroit Tigers prospect Colt Keith on Tuesday as he made some history and really had the bat working for him. As a member of the Double-A Erie SeaWolves roster, Keith was able to go 6-for-6 on the day with two singles, a double, a triple, and two home runs with seven RBI to his credit as he capped off the cycle and managed to hit two home runs in the game.

The Detroit Tigers prospect came in no.1 on the MCB countdown of Top Prospects ahead of the 2023 season, and he sure showed why he earned that honor on Tuesday. As the Erie SeaWolves defeated the Harrisburg Senators 18-8, Keith made history with his performance at the plate.

While he came in as the top dog on our MCB Top Prospects list, some other media outlets disrespected the left-handed bat, not including him, or shoving him way down the list. Keith is arguably one of the best Tigers prospects and his performance today only furthered that.

Here's a video from MLB Pipeline on Twitter that has the cycle shown in its entirety throughout the game after he got things started early with a home run and a triple in the first inning.

It was quite an impressive feat for the youngster, who has a ton of upside and is arguably the organization's best offensive prospect for the time being. Today's game was impressive for the 21-year-old, who was just seeing the ball exceptionally well and certainly capitalized on that in every trip to the plate.

Keith was also able to complete the cycle by the top of the seventh inning. He roped a single back up the middle under the second baseman's glove for an easy base hit that helped him complete the cycle. Here's how the whole day shook out for the left-handed hitter.

It truly is a historic accomplishment for him to be able to pull this off. It's a feat in itself to capture the cycle and tally all four legs of it, but Keith managed to collect six total hits while also belting two home runs. Do not forget about the seven runs he drove in as well.

Keith deserves some serious credit for what he was able to pull off with the SeaWolves. He's continuing to get the job done and is trying to continue his push on the Road to Detroit. In 2023, Keith has managed a .300/.359/.554 slash line with eight doubles, two triples, and seven home runs, all while tallying 28 RBI in Double-A with the SeaWolves.

There's just a ton to like about Keith. This incredible performance on Tuesday only makes it even more exciting to keep following along as he continues to work through the ranks of the Tigers organization as he tries to make it to the big leagues.
