Thanks for hanging with us this year, Detroit Tiger fans

Another year is almost in the books here at Motor City Bengals. Time flies when you're having fun (or maybe not). It may have been a rough year for the Detroit Tigers, but it was a pretty good year for us.

We broke our pageview record for the month of November and came close to breaking several other records. Thanks for your help with that.

We also switched to the Voltax publishing platform last month. It may be a pain in the butt behind the scenes, but we hope the reader experience is better.

Of course, none of this would be possible without you, the reader. If you didn't read our stories for analysis, breakdowns, and hot takes, we wouldn't be in business. FanSided would have canned us like Chris Ilitch canned Al Avila.

On a personal note, I started here in May and have enjoyed every second of it. Former Co-Experts Rogelio Castillo and Chris Brown did an outstanding job here and left this site in a great spot for me to take over. I'm happy to have gotten the chance to work with Chris for a few months. They are both now crushing it over at Woodward Sports.

Tyler Kotila has since joined the team as a Co-Expert and he's been phenomenal. He's a pure workhorse.

I'm incredibly proud of the work that our contributors do as well. We've had some big hits from them this year, and I'm sure they'll be many more to come.

So with that, from all of us at Motor City Bengals, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to each and every one of you. Even the people that show up in the comments and always disagree with my hot takes. Thanks for reading and happy holidays.

We'll still be rolling out content all the way through the New Year and beyond. Hopefully the 2023 Detroit Tigers bring more joy and we can write about more positive topics...okay, that might be wishful thinking.

dark. Next. 3 teams having worse offseasons than the Detroit Tigers
