#1: Miggy caps off five-run 10th in comeback win over Cleveland Indians

On the way to his first MVP and the Triple Crown in 2012, the Detroit Tigers put together yet another incredible comeback, this time against the Cleveland Indians at Comerica Park.

The game had been an average affair to that point with the team trading runs until the Indians put up a three-spot in the top of the 10th inning. With an 8-5 lead it appeared the Tigers were going to suffer an incredibly disappointing loss to the sub-.500 Indians. Much of the crowd headed for the exits with Chris Perez trying for the three-run save.

It appeared to be a routine inning as the first two batters went down until Alex Avila worked a two-out walk. Andy Dirks received a free pass and Austin Jackson brought in one run with a double. Omar Infante singled to center field bringing in two runs, including the tying run to score.

With the game already improbably tied, Miguel Cabrera stepped in and said, “Cleveland, no 11th inning for you…”

Now, who else is ready for baseball to be back?!
