Detroit Tigers vs Tampa Bay Rays Live Stream: Watch Online
Detroit Tigers fans are no doubt pleased with the team’s run of form as of late. The Tigers will look to claim a fifth consecutive victory when they face the Tampa Bay Rays in the opener of a three-game series.
Detroit Tigers players have started to put together a better on-field product. After winning the last game of a road series against the Baltimore Orioles, the Tigers returned home to face the Minnesota Twins.
Against the Twins, Detroit scored 23 runs and came away with a +7 in the run differential department to show for it. The Tigers will now continue a nine-game home stand against the American League East’s Tampa Bay Rays. Tampa is 19-19 on the season and currently in third place in their division.
Anibal Sanchez will kick things off for the Tigers on Friday night against Matt Andriese of the Rays. The former Marlin has had trouble getting past the sixth inning as of late. Only one of his starts this season has eclipsed the six inning plateau.
