Detroit Tigers baseball returns Monday as the team hits the road to face the Colorado Rockies. Here’s what you need to know to watch the game.

Detroit Tigers players will look to start a three-game series against the Colorado Rockies on a positive note on Monday as the two clubs begin an Inter-League matchup.

The Tigers will be looking to rebound after dropping two out of three in Chicago against the White Sox.

The most recent defeat came on Sunday afternoon as Detroit fell 7-1 to the team’s division rivals.

Starting pitcher Matthew Boyd was tagged for seven hits, five runs and a walk on the day.

All five of Boyd’s runs came in the third inning as Chicago shortstop Tim Anderson and designated hitter Tyler Saladino collected RBI knocks before third baseman  Matt Davidson launched a three-run home run to center field.

Second baseman Ian Kinsler provided the only offense for the Tigers with a solo shot to left field in the eighth.

Elsewhere, catcher John Hicks had a pair of hits in three trips to the plate while center fielder JaCoby Jones went 1-for-3 with a walk.
