Detroit Tigers baseball is back on Tuesday. The team continues the 2017 regular season on the road against the Kansas City Royals. Here’s what you need to know to watch the game.

Detroit Tigers players will look to start the second-to-last series of the year out on a positive note as they match up with the Kansas City Royals.

As it stands, the Tigers are riding a seven-game losing streak, having last won when Matthew Boyd nearly threw a no-hitter on September 17.

Detroit dropped the team’s most recent contest, a 10-4 loss to the Twins, as Minnesota completed a sweep in the Motor City.

Despite multi-hit games from Alex Presley, Nicholas Castellanos and Jose Iglesias, Detroit was unable to overcome the Twins’ offense.

Minnesota raced out to an early 5-2 lead after five innings before tacking on five in the top of the sixth. They held on from there, as the Tigers managed just two more runs.

Both runs came in the bottom of the ninth for Detroit.

On the pitching side of things, Buck Farmer allowed seven hits, five runs (four earned), three walks and a home run in five innings. The starter needed 98 pitches.

Zac Reininger and Warwick Saupold served as the lone bright spot pitching-wise for the Tigers, with a scoreless inning each.
