Detroit Tigers: Spring Training 2021 workout dates are set

The Detroit Tigers have announced the official dates for spring training today. If you live in Michigan, that should have provided perhaps a bit of warmth to your day with temperatures being in certain parts of the state, near zero.

Pitchers and catchers’ first workout will be February 17 and the first full-squad workout is scheduled for February 22.

For Detroit, here is how the spring training mini-camp roster will look like including Greg Garcia who signed for a minor league deal as first reported by Jon Heyman.  The utility left-handed infielder will get an invite to spring training.

Over the next few weeks, we will be analyzing the position battles for the various spots on the team, and one last item to mention, the Tigers announced they are selling tickets for spring training in limited attendance.
