Team stats:  Run differential -84

Team batting average: .210

Team ERA: 5.48

Newest face(s) in Lakeland: Trei Cruz

Lakeland went 1-5 against Daytona with their lone victory coming on Saturday night, winning 7 to 3.

After a slow month of June, Nick Quintana is off to a good start in July (3-for-9) and Trei Cruz joins Lakeland in time for a series against Palm Beach starting on Wednesday as tonight’s game was postponed.

Lastly, the Florida Complex League season, formerly the GCL, (FCL) kicked off last week for Tigers East and Tigers West. Roberto Campos, the 18-year-old international signing in 2019, made his debut yesterday in centerfield, and on the first pitch he saw, he hit his first professional home run.

Ladies and gentlemen, Roberto Campos exists and is off to a good start.
