Dr. Ryan Stouffer is an Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at Longwood University in Virginia. A native Yooper, he has been a Tiger fan since Tony "The Tiger" Phillips crouched low. He once ran from his apartment in Downtown Detroit to Comerica Park when JV had a no hitter going into the 7th. Needless to say, JV gave up his first hit, shortly after he arrived. In addition to writing about the Tigers, and being a full-time professor, he has a wife and two kids and likes to garden and cook.
