The start times for all three games in the Detroit Tigers' series against the New York Yankees had already been moved up due to extreme weather conditions forecasted in Detroit. It was still 38 degrees and snowy during the series opener Monday afternoon.
Needless to say, the conditions were hardly ideal for Yankees infielder Jazz Chisholm, a native of the Bahamas.
Chisholm posted a screenshot to his Instagram story the following morning showing the weather forecast for Detroit ahead of Game 2 of the series on Tuesday afternoon. The current temperature read 24 degrees Fahrenheit. The "feels like" temperature was 14. High of 38. Low of 22.
But hey, at least there's no snow in the forecast this time!

Yankees clearly struggling with Detroit weather during series vs. Tigers
The Yankees brought their high-powered offense – which boasted an MLB-record 25 home runs through their first eight games of the season – to Comerica Park. Evidently, however, the chilly conditions caused their torpedo bats to go cold in Monday's series opener.
In what would end up being a 6-2 Detroit victory, Tigers right-hander Casey Mize earned his first win at Comerica Park in nearly four years as he limited the Yankees to just one run on four hits with six strikeouts and three walks through six innings of work. It was the first time this season that the Yankees had scored fewer than three runs in a single game.
Chisholm, for his part, went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in Monday's series opener. He is hitting just .214 this season.
The Tigers also gave Mize some well-deserved run support, including a three-run bomb from Andy Ibáñez – who had been 0-for-11 against left-handed pitching up to that point – off of Yankees southpaw Carlos Rodón in the third inning.
The Tigers entered Tuesday's frigid game winning four in a row and six of their last seven. Reigning American League Cy Young Award winner Tarik Skubal took the hill for Detroit on Tuesday against Carlos Carrasco and the Yankees, in a game Chisholm wishes he could've just simmed through.
