Detroit Tigers fans on Twitter

We conducted three polls on Twitter, one earlier in the year and one recently on who fans want the Tigers to sign as their shortstop. Chris Brown highlighted that recently in his Correa piece that back on an April 1st poll,  it was Trevor Story and more recently, it was Carlos Correa.

Correa’s playoff play certainly helped his cause and of course the connection to manager A.J. Hinch. Jon Heyman predicted the Tigers would sign him and the odds in Vegas even look strong.

I posed the question for positions of need (shortstop and starting pitching) and one “unexpected” signing. Here are some responses we got on our Tigers Discord channel.

GhostMav:

SS: Correa
SP: Jon Gray and Alex Cobb
Surprise: Kenley Jansen

Epcicd3c:

SS: Baez
SP: Eduardo Rodríguez and Andrew Andrew Chafin
Surprise: Kenley Jansen

Now, onto our poll with a nice variety of answers.

Alex Colome I thought was a solid pick despite his down year with the Twins. Chris Taylor was also a solid suggestion since he can play a variety of positions.

Now, we move on to our contributors.
